The way we nowadays consume and produce food threatens in many cases the ecosystem of our planet. Answering the question of how to feed a growing global population sustainably is more urgent than ever. However, appropriate political impulses are missing.


The aim of the conference is to discuss sustainability in the context of food production in an intimate and interdisciplinary setting. The conference aims to link ethical, legal, economical and agricultural aspects by bringing together experts from the respective academic fields, as well as students, politicians and food producers. A problem-solving approach will be adapted in order to develop science-based policies that will address political decision makers.
